Do You Have A Need To Tune In?

When I aired the episode with this same topic on my Messages From The Other Side radio show about two-to-three weeks ago, it hadn’t hit me yet that it was a new year. I was still writing 2013 on my checks! Now that it’s February 2014 already, I see that I need to step up my game, continue tuning into my own intuitive hits, acknowledge those inner signals and, most importantly, take action.

I think most of us want to tune into our own intuition, guides, Higher Selves to either connect with our loved ones or create the life we really want: personally, professionally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

How about you? Are you ready to tune in this year?

I’ve been working on tuning into my Higher Self, my guides, the angels, the Divine all my life. After all, it is a lifelong process. Some days we pick up the signal quickly, recognize the message and take immediate action. Other days or weeks or years, we’re in a muddle and can’t see or hear anything besides our troubles. We’re in it deep.

Eventually, we pull ourselves out of the muck enough to start listening again. Like tuning into a radio station, we search for the “right” frequency for the “right” station trying to hear the messages through the static.

If you’re reading this or listening to my radio show, chances are you are tuning into your wisdom, your divine-ness, and your guide(s)! There’s a reason you found me and a reason why you’re reading this post. Acknowledge that you already are tuning into your intuition more than you realize. 🙂

How Tuning In Can Help You Make A Decision

One of the best ways to help you make a decision is by tuning into how you feel when you think of your options. For example, when you want to move and aren’t sure, ask yourself:

  • How do you feel when you decide you’re staying? Do you feel relief? Or do you feel disappointed?
  • Do you feel your stomach tighten or your muscles tense?
  • Do you wish you chose to leave?
  • If you decide to move, how do you feel?
  • Are you excited in a good way?
  • Are you feeling eager to move on with your life?
  • Does it bring a smile to your face every time you think of where you’re moving to?

One great way to be aware of this is to make the decision…for a day. Make the decision that you’re going to stay…just for 24 hours. How do you feel for those 24 hours? Then in a couple of days, change your mind. Make the decision you’re moving. How do you feel for THOSE 24 hours?  Are you already planning things; making checklists of what to do & when?

Note: You can choose to do this exercise and make each decision for 3 days or even a week if you want, but I bet you’ll get your answer within the first day.


I, myself, have been taking steady steps to hold group readings and intuitive classes locally and I’m excited to do it and also terrified to do it but my overall sense (feeling) is fun, good excitement! It brings a smile to my face to think of helping more than one person at a time, face-to-face with the support of their classmates around them. It’s time.

When I think about not moving forward with these classes/readings, I become glum and feel a sense of disappointment. For me, it’s that quick of a change in my emotion. It may be for you too which is great! Why?

Because paying attention to the signals your inner guidance is providing you, with your emotions and feelings within your body is following your intuition! Give yourself permission to acknowledge your own guidance.

With my inner self eager to move ahead with this, I’m going to start off with small groups. Hey, I have to have some things in my comfort zones, and I am curious to see if I can be as focused and tuned in with more than 1 or 2 people in the room. I’m so used to speaking to just one person since it’s usually on the telephone where I can focus on the information coming in from the Other Side without visual distractions…you know, like other people staring at me. But…I’ve spoken in front of groups before when I was in management, and I do enjoy it, so it should be fine.
